Hanover-area firefighters survey the damage caused by a fire Sunday evening at 320 High St., in Hanover. At right, a firefighter staples plastic to a window to keep the rain out. The fire was accidental in nature and started in a back bedroom on the second floor of the home, said Hanover's Assistant Fire Chief Andy Crouse. While the fire was contained to the bedroom and another room, smoke and water damage was throughout. The homeowner was temporarily displaced and Crouse put an early estimate of the damage at $20,000.
