Wreaths Across America

Last Tuesday, our members helped offload trucks full of wreaths for Wreaths Across America. This is a special Christmas event to help us remember those that have defended our country and made it a free nation.

In Memory of

 IAFF Local 2045 is deeply saddened to learn the passing of our friend and colleague Michael Golden. Mike served as a paramedic with Hanover Hospitals Medic 46 and was a firefighter with the Anne Arundle County Fire Dept. in Maryland. Until we meet again our friend, rest in peace. 

Annual Memorial Day Remembrance

Members of Penn Township, Hanover, Pleasant Hill and S.A.V.E.S. fire departments gathered at the Wirt Park Station for the annual remembrance ceremony where the list of members who have passed on over the past year are read.
