Independence Day Retirement Announcement

Fire Fighter Jeffry Parks

It is with great respect that Hanover Area Fire & Rescue announces the retirement of Firefighter Jeffry Parks. FF Parks has served Penn Township and the surrounding area since 1988. FF Parks was one of the first three career firefighters hired by Penn Township in the year 2000. FF Parks is retiring today with nineteen years of service as a career firefighter and thirty plus years of volunteering. FF Parks is an active volunteer with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and serves as a surviving family member escort. He is currently vice-president of the Greater Hanover Area Professional Firefighters Union IAFF Local 2045 where he served in several capacities. We would like to wish FF Parks the best in his well-deserved retirement.
Congratulations and Happy Independence Day Brother!
