This afternoon, C Shift crews (along with FF Wysocki from B Shift) made use of the simulator for their regularly scheduled tour of duty training. The forcible entry simulator allowed crews to refresh their skills on forcing inward and outward swinging doors using conventional forcible entry techniques. Additionally, crews were able to make use of the cutting station to refresh rotary saw cutting skills. All three Hanover and Penn shifts as well as volunteers have or will make use of the simulator prior to its return. A huge “Thank you” goes out to UH & L for allowing us use of this invaluable piece of equipment!
