Brother McDerrmit Marries

  On Saturday, many of the Hanover and Penn Township firefighters had the distinct pleasure of attending and witnessing one of our brother firefighters Brian McDerrmit and past Penn Township EMS provider Casey Fahringer get married. It was a beautiful wedding and we wish this wonderful couple many many years of happiness.

Training Day

C-Shift firefighters are participating in a training day at the firehouse, today’s skill is repelling. This Saturday we will be repelling off buildings in preparation for a high angle rescue if the need should ever arise.

Smoke In the House

  York County Box 46-05 was struck at 14:01 hours Thursday for a structure fire at 304 Centennial Avenue in Hanover Borough. Electrical Fire In The Attic

Firefighters from Penn Township and Hanover Fire Departments were dispatched for smoke in the attic at a private residence on Allegheny Avenue in Hanover Borough Monday. Automatic Alarm Becomes Working Fire

Box alarm 083 was received via the Gamewell System in both Hanover and Penn Township Fire Stations at 04:58 hours Saturday morning. Units responded from all three stations to the IWM International facility at 500 East Middle Street in Hanover Borough.
