Assistance To Hanover Hospital 

  Firefighters utilized the new Truck 46 today  helping Hanover Hospital maintenace personnel clear roof hatches so they could access heating units for the hospital. 

Fire Hydrant Clearing 

   Hanover firefighter Steve Buhl works a snow blower clearing on of the many fire hydrants within the borough. All shifts have been busy clearing hydrants. We would appreciate any and all assistance clearing hydrants in your communties, every minute wasted puts everyones lives in danger. 

Special Delivery

   Utility 46 was utilized to assist getting nursing staff from Breezewood Drive to Hanover Hall this afternoon. Road conditions are still bad and the nursing staff are essential personnel, so we were happy to give them a lift. 

Wirt Park Fire Station 

   Current conditions at the Wirt Park fire station at 20:00 hours. Please stay indoors and off the  roads if you do not have to be out, the roadways are getting nasty. Please be safe folks. 

Working Fire In Penn Twp. 

York County box 49-03 was alerted at 17:53 hours for a reported structure fire at 60 Bragg Street in Penn Township. Assistant Chief 49 requested a working fire assignment for heavy fire in the garage of a single family dwelling. Hanover and Penn Township firefighters made quick work of the fire. Working Fire In West Manheim

Hanover and Penn Township Fire Departments responded to York County Box 53-13 in West Manheim Township for a reported wood stove on fire in a structure. A working fire was sounded.   Truck 49 transferred to Adams County Company 1 in Gettysburg Saturday afternoon while they operated at a structure fire in the borough.  

Moulstown Road Accident With Confinement

Saturday afternoon, York County 911 Center dispatched Box 49-01 for a auto accident with reported entrapment at the intersection of Moulstown and Gitts Run Roads, reported to be two vehicles head on. This morning at 09:00 hours Saturday morning in light rainy conditions,  Engines 46-1, Engine 46-2, Rescue 46, ambulance 49-3 and MICU 49-2 were dispatched to Box 46-1 to 800 block of Broadway, in Hanover Borough, for a vehicle accident with injuries.
