North Franklin Street House Fire

Hanover and Penn Township Fire Departments responded overnight for a house fire in the five hundred block of North Franklin Street, where firefighters found smoke showing from a house. Firefighters found smoky conditions throughout the house. A dehumidifier in the basement  is suspected as the cause of the fire. PHOTO GALLERY

Basement Fire In Heidelberg Twp. 

Firefighters from Hanover and Penn Township were alerted for the house fire at 1870 Smith Station Road in Heidelberg Township Thursday evening. Units arrived to smoke showing from the basement of a two story, single family dwelling.  Photos by EMT Casey Smith

Box Alarm Walnut St Apts.

Hanover Fire Dept Engine 46-1 staged in front of the Walnut Street Apartments after responding for the box alarm. Firefighters found a smoke alarm activated in the hallway of the building. Before clearing the scene, the box activated again. The facility maintenance was requested to respond to the scene.
