Goats, Dogs & Birds Rescued on Highland Avenue

East Walnut Street Fire

Less than 12 hours after becoming The Greater Hanover Area Fire Rescue, firefighters were dispatched to a house fire at East Walnut and Fulton Streets in Hanover Borough. Heavy fire conditions on arrival took the fire to three alarms.  911 Photography Photo Gallery

Smoke In the House

  York County Box 46-05 was struck at 14:01 hours Thursday for a structure fire at 304 Centennial Avenue in Hanover Borough. B-Shift Donates Bicycles

Monday evening, firefighters from the Hanover Fire Department, career and volunteer delivered new bicycles to two young girls who lost theirs in a small shed fire early Saturday morning in Hanover Borough. The bicycles were purchased at Walmart by the B-Shift firefighters and donated to the girls.

Ducklings Saved

    Ten baby Ducklings were rescued by our Station 3’s  crew today. All babies were reunited with their momma. Firefighters  McDermitt, Wasocki, Garibay and Angel made momma ducks day! Thanks to the citizen that dropped off some donuts and coffee, It was greatly appreciated.
