National Night Out 2015
Tonight firefighters, EMS and Scuba personnel from Hanover and Penn Township Fire Departments and EMS participated in the 30th annual National Night Out program held at South Western High School. We offered apparatus tours, scuba diving search presentations as well as passed out plastic fire helmets to the children. A great night to promote the our departments, the fire and EMS service that we provide to the Hanover area.

Car Into House
Engine 46-1 and Ambulance 49-3 responded to the 100 block of Meade Avenue in Hanover Borough for a vehicle into a house Saturday.

Fire Dept. Visits Library
Station 46 firefighters took the apparatus to the Gutherie Memorial Library in Hanover Borough Friday morning for about seventy-five children to explore the fire apparatus and get some valuable life saving fire prevention skills and information. Firefighter Startzel read a book to the children, while Captain Clousher played a game of “who wore it better” plastic fire helmets with one little boy.

Firefighters spent the morning with employees of Snyders-Lance for their annual hands on fire extinguisher training. Employees were shown the proper use of a fire extinguisher and how to control and extinguish a fire by Penn Township and Hanover firefighters. -
