Car Into House

Wednesday evening around 21:00 hours, Hanover and Penn Township’s B-Shift was alerted for a car accident, vehicle in to a structure. Units arrived to find a passenger car into a house with a single occupant injured. One female transported by EMS to the Hanover Hospital.

Gamewell Box Maintenance

Captain Tony Clousher and Firefighter Jim Startzel do maintenance on Box 234 on Carlisle Street Wednesday morning. This particular box was built in 1957 according to the stamp inside and the box works as well today as it did in 1957. 

York St. Crash

Barn Fire In Adams County

Saturday, just after the noon hour, Engine 46-1 and Engine 49-2 responded into Adams County Box 10-3 to assist on the three alarm barn fire on Plum Run Road, just outside New Oxford between New Chester and Hampton.

Shooting / Murder On Square

Friday evening turned deadly in downtown Hanover Borough. Engine 46-1 along with EMS responded for a shooting where a 20 year old male was shot. The victim was transported to York Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. A male from Harrisburg was charged with the killing. Hanover Evening Sun Photo

A “Hard Work Fire” is a good way to describe today’s fire in Hanover Borough. At 04;19 Saturday morning, York County Box 46-01 was struck for a vehicle fire in Hanover Borough to the rear of 501 Moul Avenue in the alley.
