Hanover Fire Department, along woth Penn Township EMS responded Saturday at 17:04 hours to York County Box 53-04 for a two car auto accident with reported double entrapment on Moulstown Road near Old Hanover Road. Rescue 46 performed a door pop to free a female occupant who then self extricated. Two persons were transported to area hospitals.

Shortly after 1600 hours IAFF 2045 members working at the Wirt Park Station heard a vehicle accident in front of the station. We investigated and found a 2 car crash with 1 vehicle into a pole and the other into a home. Crews investigated and found 1 injury and no entrapment. Once the patient was in care of EMS part of the crew started to clean up hazards on the roadway and the other part investigated the structural stability of the damaged home. We forced entry into the home and made our way into the basement where we found 3 supporting floor joist and the gas meter that were compromised due to the accident. Crews shut off the main gas line coming into the home and made contact to the homeowner for the supporting floor joist issue.
Saturday afternoon, York County 911 Center dispatched Box 49-01 for a auto accident with reported entrapment at the intersection of Moulstown and Gitts Run Roads, reported to be two vehicles head on. Units arriving confirmed dispatch of the crash with three injured occupants, and several people confined. Two doors pops were completed, three persons transported to local hospitals. Units from Penn Township and Hanover Fire Departments, along with two Penn Township MICU’s and one BLS units, and fire police assisted on scene.
This morning at 09:00 hours Saturday morning in light rainy conditions, Engines 46-1, Engine 46-2, Rescue 46, ambulance 49-3 and MICU 49-2 were dispatched to Box 46-1 to 800 block of Broadway, in Hanover Borough, for a vehicle accident with injuries. York County 911 advised of one mini van into a pole with 2 injuries. E49-2 arrived and found dispatch. Box was held too E49-2, Amb 49-3 and Fire Police with 2 minor injuries. Single vehicle accident with reported entrapment at the intersections of Eichelberger Street and Eisenhower Drive. Penn Township Mobile Intensive Care Unit arrived first and reported single occupant self extricated with serious damage to the vehicle. Engines 46-3 and 46-1 arrived, controlled hazards and cleaned up the debris from the accident.
Engine 46-1, Deputy Fire Chief 46, EMS 49 and fire police from both Hanover and Penn Township responded to a two car accident at North Franklin and Chestnut Streets this morning. EMS transported open patient to Hanover Hospital. Hanover Borough Police investigated.
