Crews Make Quick Work Of Hanover Fire

Shortly before 21:00 hrs. on Monday evening March 7th, first alarm units were alerted for a report of a house on fire to the rear of 215 Carlisle St. in Hanover Borough. Hanover PD arrived first and confirmed a “fully-involved” structure to the rear. Engine 46-1 and Assistant 49 (Cromer) arrived to find a small two-story structure to the rear of 217 Carlisle St. with a well-involved first floor. E46-1 advanced a CAFS attack line and made swift work of the fire via an aggressive interior attack. Crews remained on-scene for a little over one hour conducting the investigation and overhauling the structure to look for remaining fire. Mutual-aid units on the “Working Fire Dispatch” included E52-2 (Pleasant Hill) and Adams County Rescue 33 (United). No civilian or fire service injuries were incurred.
